in this dream I couldn't get any rest because everytime I tried some being would try and attack me. I was with a group of my own, that were trying to protect me from these other beings. I felt like I was an alien, and our base camp was in this large tree. we never tried to talk to them, but we did try and fight back. everyday I was given a new weapon to fend them off. we glided around the try like we were flying, then we would try to find hiding spots and just as we found a place to rest they would find us. it was like a viscous cycle.
Dreams involving being pursued, attacked, or constantly under threat are quite common and often reflect feelings of stress, anxiety, or pressure in your waking life. Let’s break down your dream and interpret its elements:
Being Attacked by Beings: The beings attacking you in the dream can symbolize external pressures or internal fears. They may represent challenges or anxieties that you perceive in your everyday life. The fact that these beings attack when you try to rest may indicate that even during times when you wish to relax or let your guard down, you feel as though you are being overwhelmed by responsibilities, worries, or fears.
Being Part of a Group: Dreaming that you are with a group suggests a desire for teamwork and cooperation. This could indicate that you feel supported by friends, family, or colleagues in your waking life, even though you are under threat. The group may symbolize your actual support system or your idealized support system—people you wish were there for you.
Feeling Like an Alien: Feeling like an alien may symbolize feelings of isolation or not fitting in. This could be related to a situation where you feel out of place or different from those around you. It often reflects feelings of disconnection or not being understood by others.
Large Tree as Base Camp: Trees in dreams commonly represent growth, stability, or life itself. Establishing a base camp in a tree might indicate that you are seeking safety and refuge, relying on your strengths or roots to withstand challenges. It also suggests a vantage point—a place where you can gain perspective over the challenges you face.
Fighting Back with New Weapons: Receiving new weapons each day may indicate that you are constantly adapting and learning new strategies to cope with your problems. It can signify resilience, a fighting spirit, and the ability to face new challenges despite ongoing stressors.
Flying and Gliding: Flying symbolizes freedom, escape, and a broader perspective. It might suggest a desire to rise above your problems, perhaps seeking a higher understanding or escaping from a feeling of being stuck.
Hiding and Rest: The cycle of finding a place to rest and being found suggests a feeling of being trapped in a cycle that you can't escape. This may represent a lack of reprieve from stress or fear, and the feeling that your efforts to find peace are continually thwarted.
Overall Interpretation: This dream suggests that you are experiencing significant stress or pressure in your life, perhaps feeling pursued by responsibilities or fears you feel unequipped to handle. Despite this, you have support, resilience, and are actively seeking solutions. Feelings of alienation may be present but also indicate a yearning for understanding and connection. Consider what in your life is causing stress and evaluate how you can utilize your support network or personal strengths to address these challenges. Finding tangible ways to relax and moments for self-care, even in small ways, may help break the cycle represented in the dream.
